So many of us want to eat healthy food, but it's frustrating to find something that tastes delicious, helps your body and is quick to prepare! The following are 3 healthy energy drinks vs coffee that are not only extremely beneficial to your health but are delicious as well.

When you have the right amount of energy-producing foods and supplements in your diet it can improve your concentration, reduce fatigue, and can potentially lower the risk of Alzheimer's and liver cancer. One of the ways you can give your body this type of boost of energy is to use natural ingredients, such as fruits, in your energy drinks. You don't have to get your energy from caffeine.


Energy Boost Drink
Get more energy for your day. Simply add these ingredients to your drink:

  • ½ a mango
  • ½ a banana
  • A handful of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ an apple
  • 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
    (If you suffer from dairy intolerance then substitute almonds or walnuts)
  • ½ a cup of water
  • And add 2-4 ice cubes for taste

Detox drinks

Detox drinks cleanse and rejuvenate the entire body, as well as reduce cravings for other food which can help with weight loss, re-hydrate the body, and increase energy levels. They also assist with cleansing the stomach, gut, and liver.

  • 2 tablespoons of ginger (or a slice from a Ginger Root)

  • ½ a cucumber
  • 1 cup of frozen/fresh pineapple
  • ½ lime (peeled)
  • 1-inch piece of ginger root
  • ⅓ bunch of parsley
  • 1 cup of water (or coconut water)
